CSPEP and LMS have worked closely to develop the following insurance products for members:
The Liability Program

Professional Liability (E&O) Insurance
Professional Liability insurance will cover mistakes committed while performing professional activities within the scope of being a meeting planner. The protection covers allegations, whether factual or not, and, of course, your legal costs to defend a civil suit.

Members will experience significant savings on E&O insurance through the CSPEP program. Purchasing E&O insurance outside of this program could cost an additional 40-60%.

Commercial General Liability (CGL) Insurance
This insurance covers your general business activities such as visits and meetings with customers, company events, libel and slander, advertising, etc. Most contracts with Governments, large corporations and meeting venues ie convention centres, now require that you have CGL coverage in place.

In order to purchase CGL insurance through the CSPEP program you must also purchase the E&O insurance. CGL insurance can be as low as $300 for sole practitioners and $750 for corporations.

Office Property Insurance
The CSPEP office property package covers your business contents, expenses incurred due to business interruptions, crime and much more. This coverage can be purchased for as little as $350.
